Blind Sodus Bay and Port Bay REDI project SEQR Professional Engineering Reports available

Dear Residents of Wayne County:

The State of New York, Wayne County, Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation
District and consultant engineers of the REDI Initiative Projects have worked hard to finalize the
SEQR process for environmental equality review as prescribed the Resiliency Economic
Development Initiative (REDI) by the REDI Commission as a milestone of the design process.
These reports were reviewed by all regulatory agencies for comments, and state planning
partners to finalized. The public can make comments which will be reviewed and considered in
the 90% design package.

These reports can be found for review for the Port Bay and Blind Sodus Bay REDI
projects at
https://waynecountynysoilandwater.org, under the menu, click on REDI and select the
project of your interest. Please remember, these are reports that were geared to identifying need,
gaps and to aid in guiding the design process to the next steps. If you wish to comment or ask a
question specific to the REDI Report, please email,
lindsey@wayneNYswcd.org. In the subject
line, please title: REDI Report: ______Bay. If you are asking a question and are affiliated to an
address surrounding the embayments, please sign your email with your name, address, phone and
email. The PBIA and BSBIA are working with the District to continue to share information, but
current and up to date digital information helps move information more quickly to you. All
questions will be applied to a Q & A document for each project and will be posted on this same
page web page.
