Port Bay Improvement Association Meeting Agenda
For October 11th, 2019
Attendance: Board members Dave Aldrich, Jeff Auser, Myrtle Furguson, Becky Hilbert, Chris Forster, Carol Myers, Doug Atwood, Dave Pulver, and Chip Compertore.
Approval of August Minutes: Jeff made a motion to accept the
September minutes and Chris seconded it. A vote was called, and the motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report: Myrtle stated that the interest was reduced because of a federal income tax charge. Myrtle investigated and found the charge was a bank error and the money has been refunded. She also stated an insurance bond invoice for $125.00 that needs to be paid. Chris made a motion to write the check and Dave P seconded the motion. A vote was called, and the motion passed Jeff made a motion to approve the treasurers report and Carol seconded it. A vote was called, and the motion was approved.
Membership: 3 members renewed their membership in September
Channel & Dredging:
New Signage: New logos were discussed. Dave A. reached out to Terry and Jon for their input on the design of a new logo,
Sewer Project: Myrtle stated that the project is moving forward.
Golf Tournament: Will be held on June 6th. Chris coming up with new ideas to challenge the players.
Boat Parade: Scheduled for the week of the 4th in July. Jean will update the board.
Fishing Derby: Scheduled for Labor Day. Terry to give update.
2020 Annual Dinner Meeting: The dinner will be held on June 6th, 2020.
Adjournment: Jeff made a motion to adjourn and everyone immediately seconded it so there was no need for a vote.
Next meeting April 10th.
