Port Bay Improvement Association Meeting Agenda
May 8th, 2020
Attendance: Conference call, Board members Dave Aldrich, Jeff Auser, Lori Furguson, Becky Hilbert, Chris Forster, Carol Myers, Doug Atwood, Dave Pulver, Chip Compertore, Jon Post, Charlie Price, and Terry Palis
Approval of August Minutes: Becky made a motion to accept the October minutes and Dave P. seconded it. A vote was called, and the motion passed.
Treasurer’s Report: Lori stated that $99.21 for postage, $10,000 to Decker Excavating for the channel, and $613.19 for Liability insurance was paid. Terry made a motion to approve the treasurers report and Charlie seconded it. A vote was called, and the motion was approved.
Membership: Doug stated that 211 active members and 3 Businesses joined.
Channel & Dredging: Dave stated Jeff Decker did the dredging on April 24.
New Signage: Has been tabled until we have design and cost.
IJC Water height: Jeff gave members an updated on IJC conference call and water levels. IJC is determining water levels.
Sewer Project: Lori stated that the project is moving forward. Letters should go out for East Port Bay regarding hook ups. Restorations will be done after project completion.
Town of Butler Sludge from NYC: Myrtle stated Wanye County Water and Sewer Authority last heard project was put on hold.
Strawberry Festival: Becky stated that she has not heard a confirm date.
Golf Tournament: Chris stated the tournament will be August 29th at Port Bay Golf course.
Adjournment: Was at 6:30.
