CD’s area maturing. Alina reached out to Lyons Bank for new rates and mature dates:

Account ending in 7040 matures on 4/18/24 ($115,099.02)

Strawberry Festival: June 15, 2024

Strawberry Festival will be held this year (last one was 2019). PBIA will be participating. Looking for volunteers to assist in managing our presence at the festival.

Beaver Creek Culvert Project: Paul Way
-
Now out for bids. Bids will be opened on Wednesday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m.at the Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation District Office. Paul will be attending this bid opening.

Jeff Decker will be putting in a bid for this project

Permitting has not yet been completed. NYSDEC requires a public notice and a 15-day comment period prior to issuance of the permit. This notice is currently published in the times of Wayne County. Following the 15-day comment period, NYDEC should be able to issue the permit.

Drew also informed Paul that the USACE & NYSDOS permits have not yet been received Barton & Loguidice is checking on the status of these permits.

Drew expects there will be a special meeting of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors in late April to award the construction contract.

Myrtle talked to Garret (Highway Superintendent) and he plans on attending this meeting.
NOAA: updates to be provided at the May meeting
Channel Dredging:

Channel was dredged on April 1st by Decker

Merchandise:

Sold $1,500 in Eclipse merchandise

Korey is waiting on check for $355.90. Once received, Korey will deliver to Myrtle’s office.

Need to settle on a Merchandise budget for the Annual dinner

Working on a new design to be offered at the Annual dinner along with last year’s t-shirts and sweatshirts.

Remaining merchandise after Annual dinner will be offered at the Strawberry Festival scheduled for June 15th in the village of Wolcott
