June 4, 2021 - 7:00 p.m.

Dave will send out the updated treasurer’s report in a week

Terry submitted the changes to the back end of website. All changes have been completed.

Channel, Barrier Bar: Greg Gumina
Decker dredged the channel with the long stick on 6/4/2021. Jeff Decker, Myrtle and Jeff inspected.
Constant Contact will be sent out to members regarding the status of the channel
Wolcott and Huron turned down Myrtle’s request asking that if there is an emergency for dredging, could they do the dredging.
Merchandise: Jon Post
Jon & Kori Post will manage the merchandise table at the Annual dinner.

Name tags will be available at the check-in table. Tiffany volunteered to manage the check-in table
Myrtle will start the meeting with the introduction of the Board Members. She will provide the information that the South Launch will be closed the entire Summer due to the fact that DEC cannot get all the materials needed to replace the ramp and install a cement culvert
Myrtle will also provide an update to weed control and the channel.
Weeds – DEC contracts with the County. Will start the weed removal after July 4th and will continue removal until all weeds are gone.
Myrtle will also announce the Federal Plan to replace the culvert on West Port Bay Road.
REDI (Resiliency Economic Development Initiative): Myrtle: The projects funded with dollars are in the planning process and the Board will continue to be involved and provide updates.
Myrtle spoke with Lindsey: project still in planning stages
A meeting was held on Wednesday or Thursday, but we were not invited.
Events:
Golf Tournament – Chris Forster
16 teams registered. Still need some volunteers to manage the games
at the tournament
Rooftop Concert - Chris Forster
Will be on July 31st
Fishing Derby – Terry Palis
Terry will have flyers to distribute at the Annual Dinner
50/50 Raffle:
Will be sold at the Annual Dinner
Boat Parade – Myrtle
Boat parade will again be held July 4th. Theme will be “Ugly Disco 70’s”
Fireworks/Barge/Flares - Myrtle
Flares were delivered on Tuesday, June 1st and are available at Bob’s, Gallo’s, and Toadz. Price is $2.50 each
Strawberry Festival - Becky
Confirmation finally received – Festival has been cancelled for this year.
Walking Trail: Terry Palis
Contacted Trail Works, Inc. & DEC to discuss re-opening of the “walking trail” located off of West Port Bay Road
There is a possibility that DEC will build a parking lot near this walking trail.
The trail will strictly be used for walking/running/skiing. No motorized vehicles such as golf cards or snowmobiles will be allowed on this trail.

Questions submitted by members in regards to what’s happening with Bayfront. Could PBIA jump in? Plans are still in the works and will be shared at a later time.
Reminder about NYS Boating Laws – Jeff will write up and get it to Terry to post on website.
Next Meeting: July 9, 2021 and will be held at The Bayfront at 7pm
