Carol Myers is resigning her position as Secretary of the Board

Becky Hilbert has agreed take the minutes and publish until Secretary position has been filled.

Doug Atwood is resigning his position on the Board

Jen Pulver has volunteered to manage the Membership position
Membership: Doug Atwood: Membership totals are approximately the same as they were at this time last year.
Treasurer’s Report: Dave Pulver: Dave emailed to everyone and his report was approved.

Some members have joined the website, but have not paid membership fee yet

Updates coming soon to website. Plans are to make website changes to make navigation easier.
Channel, Barrier Bar: Greg Gumina

April 1st contract set for dredging Channel
-
Channel has been dredged.

Need to write a check for $10,000

Water level is very low, lowest we have seen
-
The issues with the Channel filling in last year and the initial dredging this year and the concerns for the local businesses were discussed at length.

Discussed an inspection process be established going forward to help insure the dredging is complete and identify any high spots while the contractor is on site.

Greg and Myrtle will inspect and discuss with contractor the high spot that was identified with the initial 2021 dredging.

Board approved a $2,000 budget for merchandise
Annual Meeting/Dinner Plans: All

Annual Meeting is on the Lodge calendar

June 5th is the planned date

Can do inside and/or outside event – maybe a chicken barbeque

Jeff suggested offering first come, first served

Will there be capacity limited due to Covid???

We could set-up and offer Zoom to attend the annual meeting

Start annual meeting around 2:00 p.m. (3-5 brunch??). Golf Tournament is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. on June 5th.

Josh – has offered a Finn-actics fishing charter to raffle at annual dinner
REDI Projects: Myrtle: The projects funded with dollars are in the planning process and the Board will continue to be involved and provide updates.

Boat parade will again be held over the July 4th holiday. Jean will let us know the theme by next meeting and we approved a $500 budget again this year.

Fireworks and Flares will be held on July 3rd

Waiting for approval of Fireworks permit

We will again request LaValley to provide the barge

Barge can be loaded at the old Bay Front

Strawberry Festival - Becky TBD:
No information on whether this festival will happen this year
Next Meeting: May 14, 2021 and will be held at The Bayfront at 7pm
