Much concern has been expressed regarding the collapse of the wall on the property at the North End of West Port Bay Road.
The Board of Director's of the PBIA would like to address these concerns. First and most important, it is not a matter that the PBIA has any authority over.
What we have learned is that the DEC will be overseeing the next steps regarding the project. They have told us that they visited the site this week and they do not feel the integrity of the road has been compromised. Further they will be working with the property owner on the necessary permits going forward.
We will keep you informed on the progress as we learn more.
