The PBIA wanted to share an update on the channel. Due to weather and lake conditions over the last few weeks, we have seen some stone build up occur in the channel, the area that has been impacted is on the West side near the North end of the pier. The PBIA has been working with the DEC for the last few weeks to secure the proper permits required to remove that material. We expect the permit to be issued within a week or so and have already reached out to our contractor to have them ready to perform the clean out once the permit is received. Being cautious, courteous and patient is always important in the channel, but with the current conditions it's extremely important we all slow down and consider how our actions impact others' safety.
