In recent weeks there have been some occurrences where motor boats, kayakers, and paddle boarders have been out after sunset without any type of navigation lights. Motor boats operating on the bay or returning from the lake to view the sunsets cannot see them. It’s extremely important for everyone’s safety on the bay to have their vessels, including kayakers and paddle boards, lit up at night so they can be seen by other boats. Jet skis are never allowed after sunset. The below offers some guidance. Let’s make this summer a safe one.
